Lisbeth McNabb on Innovation in Tough Times

Investor and Corporate Board Director Lisbeth McNabb wrote an article for digit.fyi about the importance of continuing to innovate during difficult times and strategies for delivering results.

“First and foremost, it’s important to realize that for some within your organization, this will be the very first time they’ve encountered a difficult business climate and economy. For those of us who have been through it before, we can forget what it’s like to face that first downturn.

Lisbeth, a HiPower Emeritus member, was also a speaker at the DIGIT Leader Virtual Summit 2020.

Lourdes Norton Published in Latin Biz Today

In “How To Be An Authentic Multicultural Professional,” Lourdes Norton, founder and owner of Twin Realty Group and a member of HiPower Austin, shared her hard-won wisdom.

“I grew up in Argentina, so you could say that I am Argentinian. But my dad immigrated there from Italy, so you could also say that there’s a lot of Italian in me. But then again, I’ve also spent the last 21 years living in the US, so you could also call me an American. I would call myself all three. It’s a rich cultural heritage that I’m extremely proud of, but when you are a part of more than one culture, you often feel like you don’t fully belong to any of them. You’re a cultural outsider and insider all at once.” Read the article.
